What a fun time we had caroling! We went to a care home facility, Hardees, Big Boys, and Putvin's drug store.  But fun to send Carol's and to share apple cider and GLOW tracts with all the people that we keep in contact with.

This has become a very favorite day! We tie up boxes of brownies, not as a health message, but as a small token of kindness for those that we meet. We attach a GLOW tract with ribbon. Then we hand them out to random people in parking lots or stores or along the street. Anyone! People are pretty tickled and pleased about their newfounded box of brownies. Some people can hardly believe that we're just handing them out randomly. We experience lots of smiles and thank yous. It is a really fun way to share kindness!

We wanted to appreciate our church members and give them a chance to minister and appreciate others. One Sabbath we took all sorts of muffins that were wrapped up individually and we shared them with the church members. There were enough so that they could also take muffins and appreciate those in their circle of influence.

Our first experience while we were at Weimar in California supposed to be involved in the weekly total community involvement. This is the service projects that they do each week in various areas of the community.  Us girls were involved in a park project. Some of the students go and play with kids that are at the park. After they play for a while, they also have a craft that they've planned as well as snacks. They get involved with the children and are able to make connections with the parents this way. Our guys were able to go along with the group that helped a family whose husband just became up paraplegic. They helped split and haul stack wood This is an amazing program they have going at Weimar That is changing lives in ministering to many people in their community. They've seen the kids make many contacts and they've even seen baptismal results from this program.

GLOW tracts are a year round ministry because Jesus is a year round God! They make them for all seasons and holidays as well as just everyday reading! If you're interested in downloading the cards that go with these packs if you can find some of them at findingjoy4eternity.com

Ever since the kids were young, we've tried to get them involved in aspects of church and Sabbath school. It's one thing to attend the church, but it's a whole new level of blessing when you become involved! If we want kids to own the church message and the Bible message, then we must get them involved in serving and giving and blessing other through the worship service. Find out what their interests are and help them get involved!
