For the kids to leave in their mailboxes... For the kids to give to friends and important people in their lives like music teachers and neighbors. 

Some church members and friends were moving away and we just wanted to let them know we'd miss them...  

A good friend came up with this one.  I haven't tried it out yet, but it would be a great one to hand out to people after a crisis.

This is the specific valentine I made for the students of my stepmom's Health Evangelism class.  Very cute!  :)

We'd never done anything like this before.  The church members just pull right in and set up tables at the end of their cars.  People were handing out food, clothes, bags, and books, and we handed out our candy valentines. We'd sure love to find some place local to feed the homeless!

My favorite birthdays are the ones when we do something for others! Dillon and Elijah both had birthdays in February and they wanted to celebrate with our friends in Tennessee.  They chose to invite their friends to bring gifts for an animal shelter instead of bringing gifts for them and it was a hit.  After games and food we took our gifts down to the animal shelter where we then had a tour and got to hang out with the animals for a while.  The kids loved it!! Two wonderful friends from Highland Academy  The kids and all their donations for the shelter.  And of course, they wanted to take the animals home with them! 

We made these to give out this year at Valentines.  Some we just handed out to random people.  Some I gave to a University class that I spoke at.  And many of them we handed out to the homeless people that we took other things to one Sabbath afternoon before Valentines.

If you want to be inspired to live generously, this is the book for you!! It is so inspiring!  Read it!

This service project is good for lots of things but the top of the list is helping others and exercise! It was my idea to do the first driveway in the neighborhood.  It was their ideas to do the second. They are happy, but tired! :)

It's fun to have these in the car and be ready to share it with a policeman when we happen upon one. When I find them, we'll put a lifesaver roll in each pack. Giving Glow tracts out is so easy when you give a little gift with it.

 This Random Act of Kindness was so much fun!! The kids even got to see the reaction of the first guy to get something.  They hid in the kitchen so they could watch and they were so tickled.  They guy was thrilled and took a couple things.

Just little gifts to let church workers know how much we appreciate all they do for the advancement of God's church!!

I would love to do this sometime.  During the months of December and January our Orthodontist's office is collecting new hats, gloves, and scarves for a shelter.  Christmas or not, I love the idea of collecting them on a tree.

A goodie bag... for neighbors for bell ringers for the garbage man for the mail lady for UPS workers for other community workers Merry Christmas!

A brown paper package tied up with string.... I loved giving this Christmas gift.  It help a few of the recipients favorite things!

This works as a gift for so many occasions! New mommy. Stressed mommy. New neighbors. Sick neighbors. Person or family going through a hard time. Just to say "we're thinking of you." The list is really endless here.  Make up some food and share it!

These cute warm Christmas socks are ready to be mailed to one of our favorite elderly ladies.

This past Friday David got me a beautiful bouquet of flowers from a local florist shop. While he was there he overheard some rudeness towards the floral employees so we decided to go back personally and show our thanks.  We took these peppermint patty thank yous and let them know what a wonderful job they did!  Always say thank you!

10 little packages ready to go to be shipped to some of our smaller friends.   Each package has a Your Story Hour CD and a couple of sheets of stickers. Some will go to kids who don't go to church and some will just go to kids who we thought would enjoy getting a little surprise in the mail!
